The Ashen Pact — Chapter One

The Ashen Pact is now available to all players. Find the Ashen Scholar in New Haven to begin the quest chain.

The Story So Far

Something stirs beneath the mountains east of Britain. The scholars call it The Pact — an ancient agreement between the living and the ash-born that has kept a fragile peace for centuries. That peace is ending.

The Ashen Scholar has fragments of the original text, but the knowledge is incomplete. He needs a champion willing to venture into the ruins beneath the old garrison — and survive what woke up inside.

Quest Rewards

Completing Chapter One unlocks:

• Title: Pact-Breaker (or Pact-Keeper, depending on your choice at the end)
• Item: Ashen Talisman — increases reagent yield by 10% for 24 hours after use
• Access: The Undercroft area, required for Chapter Two

Notes for Players

• Recommended skill: 60+ in your primary combat skill
• The quest is completable solo but easier with a partner
• Your choice at the end of Chapter One is permanent and affects Chapter Two options
